The documents on this CD provide the metadata
user / editor / creator with initial resources
with which to understand and create metadata.
Be sure to visit the internet sites listed in 
the \WVGISTC\onlineMetadataLinks.htm document 
for more information.

The FGDC document top10metadataerrors.pdf is
one you should be sure to read.  Also check
out the State of Missouri mand-if-applic-
template.pdf.  Both of these are in the FGDC
folder on the CD.

The Powerpoint presentations are included for
general information.  You may need to contact
the authors for more information on a given
talking point.  I may be able to help.

Contact me if you have questions.  If I don't
have an answer I will do my best to find someone 
who does.


Software

The mp (metadata parcer) is fairly easy to
install.  After you install it you may want to
try MPBatch, a Windows gui that uses mp and cns 
in the background.  I have not yet used MPBatch
and cannot offer any specifics regarding its use.
You will have to locate mp and cns during the 
setup or first use of MPBatch.
