Accept license agreement -Next
Target Path: default, c:\Program Files\CatMDEdit  -Next
    -Target directory will be created -OK
Appears to hang on next step - setup shortcuts
    -cancelled installation, started again
    -fails repeatedly
    -tried installing on XP (virtual PC): works!
    -installation problem appears to be Vista 64-bit related
     (later confirmed other successful installs of Vista)

First application launch
    -unclear how to proceed

Add new Repository (map existing directory containing metadata and data
    - 1+ hour loading time

Edition (editing) of metadata
    -Open metadata
    -several formats available
    -no indenting in HTML (FGDC en), thus difficult to read
    -Again, unclear how to begin editing
