  • ArcGIS 10 Tips & Tricks - This one-day, hands-on course takes a look at what's new and what has changed recently in ArcGIS Desktop. Students should have experience using ArcGIS Desktop. Course cost is $150.

  • Advanced Editing for Parcels I - This one day, hands-on course teaches some advanced editing workflows, techniques, tools and best practices for the cadastral sector. This courses intended audience are professionals using GIS, who are not already familiar with geodatabase topology and topology editing tools.

The Tech Center offers classes in ESRI ArcGIS desktop software. Please register three weeks before the scheduled class start date. For questions directly related to ESRI courses, please contact learngis@esri.com for more information.

Our Facilities

Courses taught at WVU are offered in a state of the art teaching lab featuring over 25 workstations capable of handling the latest GIS software packages from a host of vendors. Our classroom features a high resolution overhead projector and a large screen for easy viewing of lecture materials. Furthermore, each machine is equipped with a high speed Internet connection.
