Training for creation of formal metadata
Audience
Workshop attendees should be data managers responsible for
developing digital geologic data products at project, team, or program levels,
or publications group personnel who are responsible for assuring quality in the
Division's digital geospatial data products.
Objective
Develop the background knowledge and technical competence
needed to create and evaluate formal metadata that conform to the FGDC Content
Standards for Digital Geospatial Metadata.
